1. The Offer
Base Builder offers to build a functional web application for selected applicants at no labor cost ("Free Build"). This offer is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
2. Applicant Responsibilities
While the build labor is free, the applicant is solely responsible for all costs associated with the third-party AI tools, platforms, and subscriptions required to host and run the application. These costs typically start at approximately $50/month but may vary based on project scope. Base Builder does not receive any portion of these tool fees.
3. Eligibility and Selection
Submission of an application does not guarantee a build. Base Builder reserves the right to select projects based on feasibility, timeline, and available capacity. We prioritize applicants who have a clear use case and are ready to cover the necessary tooling costs.
4. Build Timeline
The "24–72 hours" timeline refers to the estimated time to deliver a "Version 1" or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) once the build has officially commenced. This does not include the time between application and the initial scoping call. Complex projects may be delivered in iterative phases.
5. Ownership and Intellectual Property
Applications are built on third-party platforms using accounts owned by the applicant. Upon delivery, all rights and ownership of the specific application instance reside with the applicant. Base Builder retains the right to use screenshots or generic descriptions of the build for case studies and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. No Guarantees
Base Builder provides the build service "as is." We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue generation, or traffic levels. We are not liable for any service interruptions caused by third-party AI tool providers or hosting platforms.
7. Communication
By applying, you agree to participate in a scoping call and provide the necessary access to tools required for the build. Failure to communicate or provide required information may result in the cancellation of your build slot.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Base Builder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the developed application.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
